Shotgun LAN

I have an XP Pro pc connected to a 4 port CNet switch connected to port 2 and the wireless broadband radio modem connected to LAN port 1. When I connect a Laptop with a LAN cable to port two it auto applys gateway and DNS using DHCP. But only the Laptop can do this. I have the correct LAN settings b...
