You're right there, I had no idea what the difference was until my issues led me to check the DELL support forums which are full of people saying the expected less glitches from a $700-$800 monitor (Talking about the 2407)... It's ~£620 in the UK! Like you said almost double the price. :?

Well they again refused in their reply so I got right on the phone to the manager, who was inclined to agree that it was a fault after a lenghty discussion and issued me an RMA number to send it back for a refund. It's pity their customer service is so crap, because like you said they always have th...

overclockers.co.uk and UK consumer law

Alien vs Predator has some enjoyable LAN play. ;) If only it didn't stop working with nVidia cards newer than the GeForce 5/FX series cards. 6 and 7 series users like myself are treated to a black screen with a HUD that trails like you're playing doom with noclipping on. :( Rather than fix this nVi...

I've been mostly playing RTS and FPS games, mainly single player or Skirmishes with the AI, some online play, but not much. AoE 3, Generals:ZH, DotA map for WC3:TFT, Quake 4, Far Cry, F.E.A.R. Just grabbed the Micro Machines V4 demo last night and fell in love with it so ordered the full game today,...

About time! :D This coming from the one man who never made it TO the lans? I'm free that weekend, but it's a hell of a trek now. I've been to every one I could including the first dozen or so straight. Being at the other end of the country did kind of get in the way of the last few, but now I'm bas...

Boot issue after upgrade

I've just built a kickass new system which at stock speeds and no tweaking is ranked 139th in 3D Mark 2005 and 103rd in 3D Mark 2003 - Life is good then? NO! I'm having a bastard of a problem trying to get one of my old drives back in to this new system. I've replaced two older drives with WD Raptor...
