SG20 - Go sign up!
Evening all, As per my rather long winded email that I just sent out, if you're coming along to the event, go sign up . Full text of the email can be found over here . One point I missed from the email - Just to remind everyone that the forums (including these news items) have an RSS feed now. Until...

SG20 - Guess we ought to do some organising then...
From my just-posted email... Evening all, Seeing as we've got a month (ish) to the next event, it's about time I started hassling and organising people then... The main message for this email is that if you're coming along, come let us know - Head for the signup page at www.shotgunlan.com and regist...

Help an Admin with a PC spec, and win... errrr...
Probably not very much. But it got you looking, eh? :) Here's the deal then... I need to put together a dead quick PC, for the primary purpose of Pro-level photo editing and retouching. It's not for me, but I've been asked to take a look. Price isn't too much of an issue, but lets not get silly... W...

Righty... None of you probably noticed, but there was a bit of a site cleanup that went on just before we announced this event... Nothing too major, just a better categorisation of stuff, made the info pages a bit more coherent, etc. In line with that, I got fed up with the fact that the forums didn...

How do you guys work the event out ie looks from the last one there was at least 30 of you there must be hard getting you all playing the same game. To be honest, it all just kind of works out :) People tend to gravitate towards the larger games going on, although I'm always happy to make shouty an...

De-stickify-ing this, as we've upgraded the 'type in the letters above' thingy... It's worth noting for anyone that cares that the default phpBB captcha isn't too great at all really - We're now using FreeCap, which is a bit more serious. Note - I didn't set it up, which is why it works. Speak to Ni...

Joy! More top quality code there from the SGLAN stable... Who here really believes that I get paid to write software for a living? ;) My official explanation for this bug is that we don't like you. We were trying to be subtle, but you pushed us. Clearly it's not a problem with my code :) Anyway, I'v...

Ah, yeah...
The signup system's changed again
Nick seems to believe that every time someone modifies phpBB, God kills a kitten, so just head over to the players page for details.
That said, I should probably remove that stuff from the user profile pages on the phpBB templates
Cheers folks

As sent earlier via email - I may come back later and sort the formatting out to make it look nice... Or not ;) Pete Well, here we are again then. This mail is really a bit of a long shot, as a great many of you will have changed email addresses, or just plain lost interest in us by now, but the lon...

Righty - First, an apology - SG has been stalled a little of late, and that's largely my fault. I'm changing jobs at the moment, moving house and all the hassle that come with it. Until recently, I've not had firm dates for any of this, so it's made event planning a little difficult. I hereby apolog...

Suddenly realised that we may not have advertised this properly - Apologies if we have... I'm losing it :) As most of you will know, Kulgan (aka Nick) bowed out of SG at the last event to follow interests in this real world thing. So - We need a replacement admin. It will suprise no-on to learn that...
