Another great up and coming UK band thats worth listening to if you can get to a gig are called "Hope Of The States". Sort of Godspeed esque big music with an undefinable genre.

Hotmail fights off *all* spam?

Has anyone with a hotmail account noticed that for the last couple of days they've recieved no spam at all? I've been speaking to a few m8's and it's not just me that's noticed this... so have MS found a way to block all spam?

If so, good on 'em, it's about time.

Hmm, it seems theres a lot more to this mod than first meets the eye, the stunt track is just a gimmic, the real game is in capturing towns and stuff. Who said all game devs were perverted geeks? http://www.lazymanc.com/image/deathrace8.jpg http://www.lazymanc.com/image/deathrace9.jpg Theres also an...

BF: Interstate 82

Just DLed this mod for BF and it looks pretty fun, only managed to have a quick bash offline cause I cant find any servers, but there's a stunt track thats remenisent of Hard Drivin from the early 90's arcades... its really really really hard, and I havent managed to get to the end of it yet. First ...

Yah, the start times are a bit random atm, just seems to be whenever everyones in the mood. If you idle in #shotgunlan someone'll give you a shout when it's time. Unfortunately we're only running it over home connections at the minute so max we can fit in is 5 or 6 before it gets laggy. Plans are af...

I still think plain vanilla BF is a more balanced and interesting competitive game. DC : Point tank at something, pull trigger, target dies BF : Point tank at something, try and get trajectory right, target takes a hit and doesn't die until after a couple more hits. The speed of the aircraft added ...

I ordered mine from www.game.uk.com for £24.99 a month or two ago. Amazon is also £24.99, but I think they have delivery on top. Play is £26.99 if I remember right.

There's also Steam www.steampowered.com but you obviously dont get a hard copy with that.

Desert Combat Clan

Zik is forming a clan for DC - nothing too serious, just some competitive fun. We haven't fully decided on a name yet, but it's possible we might go with [R]ecoil like the good old days. Anyways if you've got broadband, a copy of Battlefield and a penchant for creating large explosions using todays ...

I take it they've solved all the crappy lag problems that existed in the beta?

Is it still almost impossible to make any kind of money when you first start off?

These were my major 2 gripes with eve, if they've been fixed then I might be interested in playing again...

I watched it the other night and it was pretty dire. Plot was non-existent, the CGI was above average. And one of the good guys in it is more Hulk than the new Hulk is.
