pre-ordering HL2

just wondering where the best place to pre-order games from is?

wanna get hl2 on order

i only really know play / game - which is best?

or is there better?

play's good enough cept their delivery times are a bit funny

Gameplay always used to ship a day or two before release...most stuff I got from them has come early...probably won't happen with HL2 tho

I ordered mine from www.game.uk.com for £24.99 a month or two ago. Amazon is also £24.99, but I think they have delivery on top. Play is £26.99 if I remember right.

There's also Steam www.steampowered.com but you obviously dont get a hard copy with that.

game also has a delivery charge.

Feels good to have it pre-ordered now, problem is when i see it in town before I've got it through the post, but like u said, pre-orders normally come before the shops get it on the shelf.

I did the same as manc, only I ordered Doom III, Homeworld 2 and C&C Generals - Zero Hour at the same time.
