Newcastle

Does anybody know of any LANs up north near newcastle. PlanetLAN is b0rked. and i would rather go to a lan that people here know, just so i know it isnt dodgy or anything... Dont worry guys, you arent losing a customer. Just while I am up here, i cant make it down to aldershot during term, and I really need to go to a LAN. I am suffering from withdrawal. :p

tried the local pub? they are always in need of a good network of friends.

i dont think the local pub is quite the place for that... I might start a lan gaming club up at the uni if i can find enough people who would join, i could get a grand to start it up... and i am sure that i could find a few people who would come out of 20000 students in the city who would be eligable to join... and i would get £1000 to start up and buy kit...
