Holy Crap... Mine Eyes!

Errr... 1997 Called... They want their web designer back.

And no, I don't take well to random spammage... I only didn't delete this so other people could laugh at your rather terminally bad site.

Thankyou and goodnight
Pete

Ooooohhh, and here's some fun...

A particularly fun point in this is that the email addy you used to sign up to just rejected the signup confirmation (your mailbox is full).

Hope that password isn't to anything important ;)

The design comments were actually directed at the main site, but we'll let that one drop...

I always find folks who ask "Hope you don't mind" after the event a little amusing... There are plenty of admin emails about to check beforehand.

Regardless of anything else, how did you pick this forum to spam? I genuinely don't mind spammage when it may be relevant or interesting, but for a forum with 4 posts, attached to a net cafe a good few hundred miles from our LAN, I have to wonder.

Never mind, eh?

We got rid of CS about....urm...two, three years ago?

There are only so many times you can play the same maps, there's only so many times you put up with the whinging players.

A fresh new game every couple of events is far more interesting, even if it's just a mod, and by the looks of it (no offence), we've been at this game a lot longer than you have.
roadhog

yeaa ok then

I have got 3000 maps for counter and 15 add ons so it never gets boring its always good fun.

We found it was mainly the people that played cs that were the problem ;)

What's the point in running a LAN if every one is just a bunch of people playing the same ol game every time? A selection of what we've played :

Quake 1 FEAR Mod
Quakeworld Team Fortress 2.8
Half-Life DM
Half-Life TFC
Half-Life CS
Half-Life DoD
Half-Life AG
Medal of Honour
Quake 3
Quake 3 : CtC
Quake 3 : CTF
Homeworld
Homeworld : Cataclysm
Warcraft 3
CnC : Generals
Cossacks
Starcraft
Total Annihilation
Battlefield 1942
Battlefield 1942 : RtR
Battlefield 1942 : DC
Neverwinter Nights
Diablo 2
Halo (xbox)
Worms (of course)
Those funky projectorgames :)
Ballistics
Rally Masters
Toca 2

:)

As Spey said....CS is ssssooooOOOOO last century...well....nearly :D

Couple of other games you forgot to post up were some serious midtown madness 1/2 well... madness tbh and I recall much snipe-age on Unreal tourny map facing world :)

Until Mr Huckerby gets off his arse and fights it out with BT we've only got dial-up and I can't be bothered to try and play online.

Generally just use the network to piss about with Jamie and occasionally Pete puts in an appearence and shoots rockets randomly.

I've been told BF1942 is a bit laggy on ADSL so I couldn't see the point with dial-up.
