Half-Life 2

Post by Majer_Lin »

But an X on November 26th;

November Release for Half-Life 2?

Those over at Eurogamer have received word from UK retailers about possible Half-Life 2 release dates. They state that the game will be released November 26th in Europe, and November 23rd for the US.
The long, drawn-out Half-Life 2 release date saga appears to be drawing to a close at long last, with Vivendi-Universal Games' expected to formally announce a November 26th release date for Europe, with US gamers getting the game three days earlier on November 23rd.
Please note that these dates are not currently confirmed by either Valve or VU Games, and may be subject to change. Even though this is the case, these release dates are the most solid dates we have seen thus far.

Oh aye. Or at least try and tell us in your own words. Then again, maybe not.

I can live without the apparel for an extra $30 :)

CS:Source might lure me back for a few games.

I've got it on pre-order from play.com, not really read up on the whole steam ordering thing.

Should be back on ADSL next month, no doubt I will give hl2 a bash, anyone know what's going on with the MP side? still not sure if theres proper hl2dm mp or not :/

When you first play CS Source, you think "hmm, it looks slightly better but they could've put a bit more effort in"

But then you have a play on the original CS to see how much it's changed, and the difference is quite shocking:

I'm looking forward to DoD:Source tbh, should be great.

HL1:Source should be nice to play through again too.

Yer seems like a lot of people are interested in DM for hl2, should be good.

Might even have to run a CS:Source server @ SG20, horror of horrors ;)

The difference between the screenshots is quite a lot, LazyManc, but I hope they don't update all of the old CS maps. I can't play dust again. I really can't.
