Games you must play

Post by mid_gen »

Note the 'must'...non-participation is frowned upon :P

Giants : Citizen Kabuto
Team Fortress Classic : Hunted and 2Fort maps
Operation Flashpoint : Airborne silliness
Battlefield 1942 : Wake Island (among others)

Obviously it isn't *really* compulsory to play....but the best bits of any lan are when the whole room is playing.

Particularly looking forward to Giants and BF1942 myself :) (Desert Combat is sooo over-rated)

Urgh, better see if I can find all these games in the shops (I do have BF1942 tho) :P Hope they're on budget!

I know Giants was in the £4.99 budget a while ago...I'm off to hunt some down at lunch.

I think everyone has plain vanilla BF1942, best of the bunch imo :)

Hmmm... don't seem to have any of those at the moment. Think I once had Operation Flashpoint some time ago (possibly installed at a Lan for some airborne silliness...), though I'm not sure I have any idea where it is now...

I'm looking forward to a big, big game of OpenTTD with a huge map, no lag and hopefully no bandwidth-constraint-related-kickouts...
