The post-LAN thread..

Post by mid_gen »

Well, 20 LANs done now...

Overall the event went pretty smooth, no network or power issues.

Of course, I spent most of the weekend rebuilding my knackered PC....but at least I got an hour or so of Giants in on Sunday morning.

Cheers to everyone who took their rubbish away with them, we only had a couple of bags at the end of the event, makes a hell of a difference for us not having to drive him in cars stacked to the roof in smelly rubbish bags!

We are a bit short on cash for the event, the hall hire being covered out of our own pockets in the end. If you couldn't find someone to pay before you left or simply forgot to hand over your cash, please drop your payment to our PayPal at chris@shotgunlan.com....failing that, the naming and shaming will begin :P

I think it's going to work out cheaper to buy a laptop off ebay for each LAN :/

Got a huge 17" CRT teetering on my desk at the moment....
