just a thought...
how about laying the tables out in a way other than in rows, so that you create more socialising? say lay the tables out in a BIIG square or something I dunno. and how about a nice area under the projector or something, with sofa and many bean bag things.

just an idea.

Free milkshake would be super cool ;) but I don't think you'll go ahead with that idea.

i liked what we had last lan where everybody was facing in to the centre. I know that that wouldnt work with many more people. But it was nice and friendly that way.

maybe we could have a horse shoe shape with the project screen at the open end. that would be quite cool..
Moo!

yeah, you missed out on the last shotgun, it was the best one so far. i think it should be limited to about 30 signups ;)

All depends on the number of people who turn up. Personally, I'm all for keeping the numbers down, and I don't mind admitting that it's because I want to do as little work as possible at the LAN.

We'll have a think once we get closer to the next event and have an idea of numbers.

I for one would prefer a smaller LAN, I didn't like 13 much :|

I wish I hadn't missed 14, and 12 was the one at which I've had the most fun. :)

Shotgun 14 was the best one I've been to so far, the smaller number of people made it better. :D

Watching Pete play Super Monkey Ball while he was pissed has to be one of my highlights of SG14. :D

it will help the people who WERE unfortunate enough to sit next to you, if you tell them which LAN party you are talking about?
