BIOS Turdage

Post by Spey »

ok my bios decided quite out of the blue a few days ago that it really rather preffered to opt for the 100fsb clock speed rather than the 133 that my athlon needs to function at the proper speed

but this is by the by...at least it BOOTED at 1ghz

now however its latest venture, passwording itself has made me much more miffed

can i just say AARRRGGHHH

*not amused*

Track down the universal password for your BIOS, they all have one. Award bioses used to always take 'AWARD-SW', I'm sure there's a list of em on the net.

Failing that, just jumper reset the sucker and/or flip the battery out for a few minutes.
