Network Expansion

Post by helen842000 »

Hello! :D

I'm currently writing an essay on expanding Lans, and reasons why companies outgrow them. All research i've done so far just explains how Lans work and this is not much help!

What should a company do when the need to expand beyond adding more servers and termials?

All help is really appreciated!

as this is blatently a homework spammer then i'll make it difficult for you.

companies outgrow lans by setting up additional sites (thus creating a WAN in some cases), they can reach the maximum connectivity for they're infrastructure hardware (ie hubs and switches) and need to upgrade by possibly adding extra network kit or replacing current kit for larger capacity kit, they can move into additional space in they're current site that doesnt have connectivity. Network Load Balencing is also a factor.. loadsa different reasons..

now thats enough of me helping you :D

Nothing to do with Shotgun LAN, and you're not a LAN attendee. Read the README and go away. Banned.

(Yes, I'm a bastard)

Not exactly, just pissed off with people not reading the nice README I wrote at the top of the forum's message list.
Tired of reading message after message from people completely unrelated to SG spamming the boards with their irrelevant and badly spelt problems.

phpbb is one ofthe best forums out there but so open to spammagelike this. if it's not porn sites spamming onto sites like we've seen before then it's people like this.
