Mechassault seems to be mechwarrior with all the good bits taken out (i.e. setting up your own mechs and the co-op)

From playing it on xbox live it seems that its a bit dull and repetetive, although I haven't played a proper team game yet.

Anyways, it's going back for Splintercell on Friday, which is lookin mighty fine.

Mech Assult seems pretty darn good if you ask me. The multiplayer side of things needs some work, it's prety simplistic atm.

But for it's credit, I'd say that mech assault is the first Mech franchise that gves you the experience of controlling a massive mofo-ing mech machine that can stomp on little people and blow the living **** out of building.
