It's not going to fall apart like Neocron and AO, for starters, all the main game features are already implement and working, now being fine-tuned in the beta.

AO is only just 'complete' well over a year after release.

bah.. it's great.. you only mine if you want to mine ffs.. i know someone that exclusivly goes around blowing people up and taking their cargo, he was in a little 30k frigate he hasnt mined since.. it's just because mining can be hassle free that most people do it.

If you spend more than five minutes playing the game and having a quick browse through the forums, you'll find there are much more interesting and profitable ways of making cash.

Mining is nearly risk-free, and hence is boring.

The more risks you take, the more interesting the experience is, same with anything.

reading this, i really wanna play eve. but since i got put in halls without access to the 2.5gbs line that runs REAL close to my bed, (underneath the floor actually) i dont have net access for my own PCs, this really blows, i was looking forwards to downloading games and stuff REAL quick. I can still do that, but i have to burn it to get it to my PC.

I feel really hard done by now. :(

I will have to wait till next summer when i take my PC home and get broadband access again... WHEEEE...

talking of wheeee...

yeah, i do have my lappy, but it is shite, a dell inspiron 3800, 500mhz 128mb... i have no chance of running Eve on that.. Plus half of the keyboard is b0rked any way. I have to press Shift+Insert to paste TtYy[]{} from the charmap to be able to type anything with those character in. And i dont think i will have time to do that in eve...

and by underneath my floor i actually mean in the floor, i am on the bottom floor.

the dell keyboards are shite.. latitude's of the same age had a generic fault caused by a bad batch that were made and dell have had to replace thousands.. your lappies probably out of warrenty but hunt around for a replacement one on ebay etc..

yeah, i will when i have some cash that i havent budgeted yet.

I think it isnt just one problem. they keys that are broken keep changing, first of all it was the 8ik, column now ty[] have gone... lots of things in between... At one point everything broke, but that turned out to be something about key filtering... whatever that is
