XBox Live - First Impressions

Post by mid_gen »

Well, the dashboard update all went smoothly, setting up the net connection is nice and straightforward (just head to 'advanced' and put in IP/gateway/DNS etc yourself ;)) Putting in all your details (name/address/CC info/activation code etc) is a bit painstaking on the joypad, but it's a well though out interface.

Been playing MotoGP against a mix of European and US players by the sound of it, no lag, and voice comms work a treat :D

It's a shame whacked sucks so badly, they could've bundled another half decent game. Just waiting for Unreal Championship on Friday ;)

Whacked is crap. Period.

Since I obviously can't be 'uber' at UT2k3 on PC, I am going to use my l33t Halo skills and concentrate on UC on X-Box :D

Just a quick question, will there be an Xbox at the next SGLAN?
