looks nice for websites,
looks nice on an OS...

but in general - macs.. err.. useage? none really.. your either UNIX, or Microsoft... there is no 3rd place

oh I've heard lots to suggest it's a bit crap as an OS, but I just love the design of the OS, it looks so pretty! thank god for StyleXP and people who make OS X imitation skins. yum yum.

fiBlack is a bit easier on the eyes, although fiCharcoal might be a more accurate description...

indeed is it Unix, at the core.
but on top is I've heard an idiot-proof stupidly simple interface in an idiot-friendly pretty environment.

as my dad says: "They couldn't get it right with their own kernal, so they used Unix and, HEY! they still can't get it right"

but then, he amazingly manages to be both a Mac and an MS basher (note, not MS' OS basher, but the company, MS).

If we're going for the beardiness quota, then yeah, Mac OS X is based on BSD, but it doesn't use the crappy XWindows system, so beloved of the bearded hordes.

hell, I had the tracks on my motherboard cut. I had 1MB of CHip, 2MB of Fast, woot :twisted:

my a500 died a while ago, i got a a1200 to replace it, its still knocking around running nice :) thats got 2mb chip and KS3

Somewhere in a warehouse in the UK sits my A1200 with the GVP 1230 accelerator incl 6MB RAM. Feel the speed... :lol:
