The new current favourite albums thread :)

Post by mid_gen »

Hmm, what are we listening to at the moment...

The last few days I've had on :

Lamb - What Sound : They used to be a little too drum and bassy for my liking but they've mellowed out to create a nice laid-back listen.

Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots : This was reccomended to my by a friend, and I wasn't dissapointed. Laid-back indie weirdness. Class.

Portishead - Dummy : The old classic, well worth a listen :)

Zero 7 - AnotherLateNight : Latest in the AnotherLateNight series, an eclectic collection of mellow tunes with a slight hip-hop leaning.

Kruder and Dorfmeister - K&D Sessions Vol.1 : If you've not heard this compilation, you are a p33n! Disc 2 escpecially is one of the finest selections of chilled out music ever. Forget your 'chillout session' pap, this is the real thing

That's it. And yes, I am desperately trying to avoid doing work. Blergh :)

No shit. And yes, so am I, so here goes...

Currently:
Delerium - Semantic Spaces (better of the two Delerium albums listed here, though not by much)
Delerium - Karma
Rhys Fulber - Conjure One (he of Delerium/FLA fame)
Dire Straits - Love Over Gold (Telegraph Road is the dog's proverbials)

Just bought Train - Drops Of Jupiter as well. Bloody nice tunes.
Matchbox 20's growing on me atm as well.

Doing bugger all too, playing with xpoll & re-doing site graphics. Shame I have no idea what I want finished jobbie to look like.

Keeping me sane while this is happening are a couple of bargains from HMV I picked up at Xmas:

70s:
Neil Young - Harvest
Neil Young - After the Gold Rush

80s: (Yes I am a sad child of the 80s... )
Journey - Greatest Hits
The Human League - Best of...
Adam Ant - Hits

00s:
Moby - Play

90s must have sucked hard...

What's so bloody fantastic about the video? A few flashes of a couple of 'barely teen' school girls having a quick kiss in the rain.

To see the filth some of you lot have on your PCs I can't believe you're so thrilled by this video?

been listening to ozzy - live and loud, Iron Maiden Rock in Rio, and Murderdolls BTVOTM.
the politics be behind the 2 lezzas, is that i think in russer u get locked up if ur gay, thats y they are behind a chain fence.
The reason why they were first lezzas was they were homeles and some dodgy bloke persuaded them do do it, hes now their manager.
Eat well, stay fit, die anyway!! (you laugh at me cos i'm diferent, i laugh at you cos your all the same!)
