An Admin Sets Off...

Post by PeteTheHair »

Righty, me car is packed and I'm outta here in the next 15 mins or so. If anyone has any dire emergencies, I can be reached on 07881 780565, though it may be someone else who picks up if I'm driving.

See you all in a bit :)

...and gets home again.

Ergh. It's 10pm. I got home about 40 mins ago. I'm going to bed now :)

Was that alright then?

alo,

v.nice, well run, nice atmosphered event imo, altho i only attended for the friday night, i thought it looked set to probably be the best sglan so far (that i have been at), entertainment wise everything was covered, as was the acoholic beverage provisions.

probably the smoothest running sg ive been to aswell, no network problems, no power cuts, no nothing.

pete did shout, but at only 50% loudness compared to his usual 110% that ive experienced, which both disapoints me (cause its funny) but also confirms the lan was running better than normal :)

Good stuff lads, was a LAN to be proud of, keep it up, roll on the next one.

If you was there only on the friday, you missed the bombfire and drink session we had on the sat night which was class, although the fire did get a bit too hot at times.

No power cuts? You obviously weren't in the middle row then! Had at least 3!!!

Aside from that, my first SG, and it was great. Cheers to the admins :D

Tbh I blame all the UPS's :P

We monitored the current being drawn from that circuit, and it was nothing approaching what should trip te breaker. We suspect a dodgy CPU was surging somewhere..not a lot we could do =/

Network was fantastic...didn't have to touch it all weekend, thanks to Intel again for all the kit :)

that was an uber fun lan, and the bombfire idea was great, many laughs were to be had around that thing, can't wait for the vids and pics to be uploaded.

Top LAN, well done guys. Looking forward to the next one.
Oh, and thanks to those of you who not only brought your USB hubs/gamepad/XBox controllers, but who also left them behind for our 'ProjectorGames Controller Fund', cheers ;)
