Warhammer 40000 dawn of war

Post by Phlebus »

Justs got back from Landed - we missed u pete :(

Warhammer Dawn of war is the win, like generals but soo much better. It's at beta. only trouble is , u need an internet con to play it atm. So unless we have one at the lan. we stuffed. and its such an uber game.

I can second this... At a recent mini-Ze-LAN I was at (for a limited time... apologies again, Nick), we got out the MTA:VC patch, and it's excellent... Some people may remember the time we tried an earlier beta and it was terrible, but they really have sorted out a lot of the issues with it... Bring your copies of VC if you got 'em.

Anyone for a crack at MS Hearts? ;)

I'd say some of those are down to lazy Devs leaving their debugging Methods in there when they built the release versions, this is MS afterall! The rest are no doubt so the Devs could willy-wave at their mates, "I'm so cool I put my own cheats/secret stuff in a MS Windows shipped games and apps, look how much I rock".

I've sent an e-mail to THQ regarding Dawn Of War, might be able to sort something out with them (copies of the games would be nice). They've been helpful in the past so I'm hopeful they'll come back with something.

If you can arrange this, I'll personally give you a 1 hr token for a free whipping.

That would be NICE ... I'm VERY much looking forward to having my Ork-swarms cut into marines... :D

No reply yet, and it's getting a little close to deadline. Apparently review copies are going out this coming weekend, but trying to get hold of one is going to be a mite tricky.
