Its like choosing a 400mhz over a 3ghz pc
As shotgun proved thou, only people with shitty pc's play it, the rest of us play decent games

The distressing thing is, when HL2 ships, all that'll happen will be CS for HL2. :(

Yeah, I'm hearing more and more rumblings that DM won't be included with HL2 on release, the whole multiplayer will be CS :(

At least those HLDM beards have the tenacity to play a game they like, rather than a game that used to be fun. CS just got too competitive. People take it far too seriously.

put your hands up the last time a mass CS game was played at SG? apart from a crouchjump incusion at the last event (and i actually think they still enjoy that game) I think SG's the last place that people would be like "oh im playing that game cos everyone else is" with respect to CS.

I think that Battlefields got that crown for a while. (maybe joint ops will take it over?)

changing the tone slightly i would welcome a return for some more consoles at the event, ever since i got my xbox (and promptly put the ps2 away) i've been getting quite good on PGR2 :D (xboxlive U/N - ribbo ) i know it takes away from the PC gaming a bit (like Projector Games and petes singing does) but it's still dang good fun (apart from petes singing)

Did BF Vietnam take over, or is Desert Combat still the main contender?

I think the Halo 16 player we had at one event was classic, system linked PGR2 would be cool too. Even if Dragon would win that one. Shame Halo2 won't be out until November 'cause that could've been the daddy as well.
More organisation re: larger tellies would be a bonus, 'cause we can't very well have four peeps playing on my 14" portable.

I'd like to play some more PGR2, but I'd spank you all at Halo ;)

I can bring along my 30" beasty, can anyone else offer a big telleh? :)

Last few LANs all I've done is messed about in whatever the latest incarnation of BF is, played on consoles for a few hours, leeched a bunch of stuff off the net, and sat drinking by the bonfire.....

It rocks :D

And the beast ain't a network device, it's the common reference to the rather wonderful projector we are often graced with... They don't come a lot bigger than that...

It would be a bit toilet, yes. :) And you'd have Arcas bitching about the fixed framerate too. :P
